Wisconsin is the home of the Rocket Bobber and the "Gateway
to the Great Northwoods". It offers some of the best
musky, pike, walleye ,bass and pan fishing to be found. A
fantastic place for a family vacation!
Tackle 2000's goal was to create the best
all-around fishing bobber on the market to date. Not
an easy project seeing the anglers that used fishing bobbers/floats
ranged from beginners to seasoned veterans. This meant that
we would have to create a bobber/float that could be used
to incorporate the simplest form of angling presentation
to the most advanced forms, utilizing the many different
baits/lures available on the market today, along with giving
the angler the opportunity to fish from shore or boat. In
order to accomplish this we had to incorporate six specific
characteristics we felt were essential for an all around
bobber: Casting Distance, Accuracy,
Visibility, Sensitivity, Versatility and Durability.
By the time we finished, we had created a weighted bobber
that offered all of these features. Next we
expanded into lighted bobbers for night fishing and "rattlin'"
bobbers that work great with all plastics. |
